Distech Controls Marks Company Milestone
Celebrates 20 year anniversary
Brossard, QC, January 20, 2015—Distech Controls, an innovation leader in energy management solutions, announced today the celebration of an important organizational milestone: the company’s 20th anniversary.
The Montreal-based company, founded in 1995, originally provided system integrator services to the Canadian market. Etienne Veilleux, Distech Controls’ founder, President and CEO, soon identified a need for user-oriented building automation products and for solutions that were based on open protocols. From this was born Distech Controls’ first commercial mission: provide controllers, engineering, and software based on open control protocols and standards to offer user-friendly, feature-rich, and cost-efficient solutions.
Over the course of the past 20 years, the organization has experienced significant growth internationally. Distech Controls now includes business divisions and regional offices strategically located in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East, and a global distribution network of over 500 Partners.
