[Lyon, France, 28 April, 2021] - Distech Controls™, an innovation leader connecting people with intelligent building solutions, is taking the standard thermostat to the next level with the launch of the innovative ECLYPSE™ Connected Thermostat. This intelligent, intuitive thermostat delivers a best-in-class occupant experience featuring a touchscreen interface, multiple connectivity options including wired IP and Wi-Fi for system communication, and Bluetooth® low energy (BLE) for mobile connectivity. 

The ECLYPSE Connected Thermostat is designed to help building owners elevate the value of their commercial facilities and features an easy-to-use and elegant interface with a glass touchscreen and LCD display. The thermostat is compatible with Distech Controls' free my PERSONIFY mobile app, which provides flexibility and functionality via its modern user interface. The app utilises Bluetooth technology, making it just as easy to connect and operate as any household consumer Bluetooth device. 

The ECLYPSE Connected Thermostat also allows building owners to create their own personalised and branded mobile app to answer the specific needs of the building and its occupants using Distech Controls’ open developer tools.

Additional benefits include: 

• A unique user experience with a single intuitive interface to adjust and optimise the temperature, fan speed, HVAC mode, and lighting/sunblind position via BACnet – all from a single device. 
• A weather function allows users to monitor outside conditions and adjust the indoor building temperature accordingly.

The ECLYPSE Connected Thermostat is ideal for both new build and existing buildings and features an open system. The range of ECY-stat models available provide greater flexibility, allowing the control of a variety of applications including fan coil units, heat pumps or zone control applications. This can be expanded to other applications depending on building requirements.
