• Oliver Fillot is promoted to Vice President of Sales for France and the UK
• Jérôme Lhote is appointed to Director, Major Project Business Development for France

Olivier Fillot, Vice President of Sales, previously managed France and the French-speaking market regionally. He will now also oversee regional sales functions for the UK and Ireland. This augmented role is due in large part to the successful expansion of Distech Controls’ product line and solutions into the region’s Commercial Office spaces.

“Early on in his career, Olivier played an integral role in the development of the system integrators network in the region. His determination and perseverance are his strongest assets,” said Martin Villeneuve, President of Distech Controls. “Moreover, Olivier understands the multi-faceted needs of system integrators and OEMs in the European market for the rapidly progressing and digitally-driven building spaces.”

Olivier has 30 years of industry experience. After joining Distech Controls in 2012, he quickly developed a solid network strategy and action plan for France’s system integrators. Throughout his tenure, he has built an experienced, motivated and customer-centric sales team. Olivier has a diploma in HVAC engineering in Grenoble and holds a Bachelor of Business from Commerce University of Lyon, France.                                                                                                    

Jérôme Lhote is appointed to Director, Major Project Business Development for the French region. Jérôme previously served Distech Controls’ as the Technical Manager for France. With a tenure of four years at Distech Controls and over 20 years of industry experience, Jérôme will lead the company’s Parisian sales team. Additionally, he and will manage presales support of the entire French team for major projects.

Jérôme began working with Distech Controls in 2015. He holds a diploma in building automation in Vienne, France and a Technico-Commercial Industrial license from the "Ecole La Mache" in Lyon, France.
