[Lyon, France, February 20, 2018] - Distech Controls, an Acuity Brands company, and innovation leader in energy management solutions, has launched BIM Files (Building Information Modelling) for its whole product portfolio to help architects, engineers and consultants create more efficient buildings.

BIM is a 3D, model-based process that provides useful insights and tools for professionals to plan, design, construct and manage buildings more efficiently. It offers a complete digital representation of a building. Team members can share and update details throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to construction and beyond.
