Distech Controls' New Headquarters Building Grand Opening

Brossard, QC, September 27, 2013 - On September 19th, Distech Controls, a Canadian corporation, held its official Grand Opening ceremony at its new global headquarters located at 4205 place de Java in Brossard, Quebec. Representing an investment of $6 million dollars, the new building offers 34,000 square feet of office and production areas and is located on 3 ½ acres of land.
Occupied since May 2013, the building is home to 80 of Distech Controls’ 150 worldwide employees, ranging from production, research & development, product management, marketing, sales, finance and administration.
Built to Distech Controls’ custom specifications, the headquarters provide modern work spaces that are both comfortable and energy efficient. It features multiple areas dedicated to employees, such as a gym, bistros and a terrace. Designed to LEED® standards, it is also outfitted with Distech Controls’ building automation solutions for HVAC, Lighting, Shades and Access control, providing a technological showcase for Distech Controls’ energy efficient products and solutions.
The event was celebrated during a cocktail reception with musical guests and unique culinary stations featuring local Quebec produce. Distech Controls’ employees, partners and members of the business community were in attendance.
